Degree Official MotoGP Jerez Spain 2012
Jerez circuit will officially roll out the Spanish MotoGP race next season, and became the first European Grand Prix racing calendar in 2012. In the 2012 MotoGP race schedule last released some time ago, the status of the Jerez circuit is still not clear, but the manager continued to discuss this with MotoGP officials.
"We are delighted to confirm that the Spanish Grand Prix will be held at the Circuito de Jerez, which is a special place in the morning MotoGP championship racing," said CEO of Dorna Motorsport, Carmelo Ezpeleta.
"I thank the Junta de Andalucía and the board of the town of Jerez de la Frontera for their support to maintain this organization. We look forward to continuing to work together in the future and we will discuss a contract extension until 2016."
